I have multiple opportunities for you to learn various techniques and skills related to painting with water colors. In-person instruction as well as online via zoom is available. If you have questions about any of the classes, please use the form at the bottom of this page.

BEGINNING WATERCOLOR 1
In this course you will learn the basics of watercolor. We will cover different techniques and tricks necessary to understand how to paint with the watercolor medium. You will learn washes, color, ‘wet on wet’ and ‘wet on dry’ techniques and more. This class provides a great introduction to painting with watercolor, and for those who already know the basics, it’s a good review of techniques and an opportunity to explore watercolor in more depth.

BEGINNING WATERCOLOR 2
– requires knowledge of basic watercolor
This class is more project oriented.
Now that you know the fundamentals of watercolor we can begin to apply those techniques to making a painting. We will be covering many aspects of the craft and learn to paint with watercolors using various techniques and subjects. This class will cover a more in depth look at color, value and contrast in painting.

PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE INSTRUCTION – ZOOM AND IN-PERSON
Instruction based on your level of skill and comfort with watercolor. Each session is tailored to you. Additionally, you have the option of purchasing a semi-private for two of you for an additional discounted fee.

I have so enjoyed my classes with Eva over the past year. I now understand the basics and feel more confident to try new things. Eva has a wonderful sense of color, perspective, and overall balanced symmetry. Her instructions are easy to follow but it needs practice like any new skill. So glad I recently retired so I have time to discover my creative side. I am glad to see she has added Zoom lessons to her repertoire.
